Part 3 — “Over Here…”
According to the story, Georgie had fallen asleep inside his shelter late one night when something suddenly woke him.
At first, he could not understand what he was hearing.
Then the sounds became clearer.
Heavy movement outside.
Branches snapping.
Something large moving slowly through the woods around him.

The story claims Georgie immediately froze inside the shelter, listening carefully while the sounds continued moving closer.
At first, he hoped it was only an animal passing nearby.
But according to the account, the movement outside did not sound natural.
The footsteps seemed deliberate.
Controlled.
Almost human.
Then came the voice.
According to the story, it sounded close enough to be standing just outside the shelter.
A whisper drifting through the darkness repeating the same phrase again and again:
“Over here…”
“Over here…”
“Over here…”
The most disturbing detail was how human the voice sounded.
Almost human.
But not completely.
According to the retelling, the voice seemed to move around the shelter as though something was circling him in the woods while trying to lure him outside.
And with every repetition, the footsteps grew closer.
Panic finally overwhelmed him.
Believing the thing outside was about to reach him, Georgie reportedly jumped up and fled into the forest in the middle of the night, abandoning the shelter entirely.
The story never fully explains what was following him in the woods.
Some people compare it to Appalachian folklore about mimics — entities that imitate human voices to lure people deeper into isolated areas.
Others believe the story is simply internet horror fiction inspired by wilderness fears and survival paranoia.
But the reason the story remains so unsettling is because so little is actually revealed.
No clear monster.
No explanation.
Only eyes watching silently from the trees…
and a voice in the darkness whispering for someone to come closer.
