Part 1 — The Figure Nobody Could See

Most people assume ghost stories begin in abandoned houses, forgotten hospitals, or old cemeteries.

According to a story shared online, this one began inside a Tesla.

Late one evening, a man was sitting alone in his parked car listening to music and scrolling through his phone. The area around him was quiet, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Then he happened to glance at the vehicle’s display screen.

At first, he barely paid attention.

The Tesla was showing a pedestrian standing directly in front of the car.

That wasn’t unusual.

The vehicle constantly detected people, cyclists, and obstacles nearby.

But when he looked through the windshield, he froze.

There was nobody there.

The parking area in front of the vehicle was completely empty.

No pedestrians.

No parked cars.

No movement.

Nothing.

He looked back down at the screen.

The gray human-shaped figure remained exactly where it was.

Standing directly in front of the bumper.

Watching.

Assuming the sensors were making a mistake, he waited for it to disappear.

It didn’t.

One minute passed.

Then two.

Then five.

The figure never moved.

Never flickered.

Never vanished.

According to the story, curiosity eventually got the better of him.

He stepped outside and walked around the vehicle.

The night air was cool and still.

He checked the front of the car.

Nothing.

The sides.

Nothing.

The rear.

Nothing.

No person anywhere.

Yet when he climbed back into the driver’s seat and looked at the screen again, the figure was still there.

Only now it wasn’t standing in front of the car.

It had moved.

The icon was now standing beside the passenger door.

As though it had walked around the vehicle while he was outside.
