Heartbreak for the Broadus Family: Snoop Dogg’s Granddaughter Dies at 10 Months Old

Cori Broadus, daughter of hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, has announced the passing of her 10-month-old daughter, Codi Dreaux, who died on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Cori shared the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post, writing:
“Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi.”
A Difficult Beginning
Codi Dreaux was born prematurely in February 2025 at just 25 weeks gestation via emergency C-section after Cori was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome, a rare and life-threatening pregnancy complication.
Following her birth, Codi spent nearly a year in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she received round-the-clock medical care.
Throughout the long hospital stay, Cori and her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, remained by their daughter’s side, regularly sharing updates about her progress.
A Brief Time at Home
Earlier this month, the family celebrated a major milestone when Codi was discharged from the NICU on January 6, 2026. After months in the hospital, she was finally able to go home with her parents.
Tragically, just 20 days later, Codi passed away.

Wayne Deuce also expressed his grief on social media, writing that he had been “the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux.”
Snoop Dogg has not issued a formal statement but shared a photo of his children on social media accompanied by prayer and heart emojis.
