Part 2 — The Whisper in the Blizzard
David shouted Alex’s name into the storm.
No response.
Only wind.
Only snow.
The blizzard had become so intense that every direction looked exactly the same.
Trees emerged from the white haze only moments before disappearing again.
The temperature continued falling.
And according to the story, David began worrying less about finding Alex and more about surviving the night.

His first priority became finding shelter.
A cave.
An abandoned structure.
Anything that could block the wind.
He stumbled through the forest for what felt like hours.
The cold seeped through every layer of clothing.
His hands were numb.
His legs felt heavy.
And the darkness seemed to close around him from every direction.
Then something happened.
Something he would never forget.
According to the story, a whisper suddenly drifted through the storm.
Not a shout.
Not someone calling for help.
A whisper.
Soft.
Clear.
Impossible.
The voice seemed to cut directly through the wind.
And it said:
“Turn around…”
David stopped walking immediately.
Every hair on his body stood up.
The whisper came again.
This time even clearer.
“He’s behind you.”
For several seconds, David remained frozen.
The storm continued raging around him.
But according to the story, the forest suddenly felt unnaturally silent.
As though everything was waiting.
Watching.
Listening.
He desperately wanted to turn around.
But every instinct screamed at him not to.
So instead, he kept moving.
Faster now.
Almost running through the snow.
Whatever had whispered to him in that storm wasn’t something he wanted to meet.
And somewhere ahead, through the blowing snow, he finally spotted a faint shape in the darkness.
A cabin.
